# Source availability audit

Audit date: 10 September 2026. Version 0.1.0. Unpublished draft.

The audit attempted all 207 registered routes: 197 unique primary catalog source URLs and ten reviewed direct analysis-package URLs. Secondary source URLs were not probed. Source pages were not crawled to discover download components. No full packages were downloaded.

The checker consumed 28,672 response-body bytes at application level for limited archive probes. HTTP headers and transport buffering are additional. A recognized archive prefix does not prove full downloadability or integrity. Rate limits and network failures are unresolved, not evidence that an entire dataset has disappeared.

## Interpretation boundaries

The tests used unauthenticated HTTP requests with four workers, 12-second per-operation network timeouts, and at most 4,096 application-read body bytes per direct-archive range request. Every attempt and its timestamp are retained in availability-2026-09-10.json. No later retry replaces these observations. A provider may behave differently in a browser or after a cooldown. The script records response codes but does not infer whether a blocked response is caused by authentication, anti-automation measures or another access policy.

A reachable provider page does not establish availability of every associated catalog entry. The 3,600-row catalog contains variants and components, not 3,600 independent downloads. A matching Content-Length or recognized file prefix does not establish exact historical edition identity. Full-corpus reacquisition remains unverified.
