Submissions are reviewed by the PICES Secretariat before publication. We accept records of data produced or assembled by PICES expert groups, projects and other PICES bodies, either as data deposits or as catalogue entries that link to data held in another repository. Each record must name its creators, carry a clear description, give the North Pacific Marine Science Organization (PICES) as publisher, and, for a catalogue entry, link to the dataset with the relation “Describes”. We may edit a submission’s metadata for consistency before accepting it, and we decline submissions that are out of scope. The legacy records migrated from the former TCODE catalogue in 2026 keep the metadata of their original FGDC records.
