Our goal is to address the challenging issues and problems arising in the Information Management research and service domain. The broader aspect of Information Management finds a most applicable domain within organizations as memory institutions (Libraries, Archives and Museums) as well as providers of information services to the community, both in the business and public sector. As a whole the Information Management includes the allocation, organization, processing, preservation, retrieval, distribution and dissemination of information, independently of the substrate that it is written or depicted upon.
